A Pleasant and Ordinary Saturday

It is just another ordinary Saturday and I am glad to have a break from politics. I am anxious for the election to come and for Obama to win. I used today as a time to catch up on posting and especially liked reading other blogs and catching up as best I can with my blogging friends.
I am learning to live alone without feeling isolated. It seems to work most of the time and I find it helpful to write as best I can. I have limited flow to my writing right now. I am involved in a more introspective process that keeps me somewhat more private than in recent days. I am also writing a piece about my dog and stories from my childhood. It is light and fun when I can get the flow of it. I will share some of it when I get it to a point worth sharing.

I enjoy ordinary days, once in a while! It’s nice to be at home.
So, what kind of writing are you doing? Short stories, a book, what? I am interested!! I love writing and want to be able to do it on a more regular basis.

Thanks so much for your reply. It is good to know that others suffer drags in their writing. You write so well, especially with nature. We just have to stay with it.

Hi Annie,
It’s good to see you post. My Dad and his wife (she is American) just got back from a month long tour across the U.S. East Coast, the southern states and up towards and into Montana. I asked them who (the Americans they spoke with) said was going to win the election and they both said almost everyone they spoke with said Obama. I hope that is so.

I find that for the most part I prefer being alone now. Its harder to be around people than to not be

Raine, I often times prefer being alone. I have such feelings regarding my late partner and it seems no one understands. Being alone is often like being with her. I also have our dog who was with us from the beginning. I talk with her and it comforts me. Peace, Annie
